Honda RC213V Brings Changes from HRC

It’s like a broken record to say that the departures of the MotoGP team have become a little anemic in terms of what is presented compared to what will be driven in 2022, but today it’s a little different. HRC presented its 2022 Honda RC213V during the MotoGP Test in Sepang last weekend and presents its new motorcycle in its “new” colors before the start of the season in Qatar.

This is due to the fact that the Japanese manufacturer has big changes underway for the 2022 Season, and to see it, you just need to take a quick look at the bike shown in these photos. Perhaps the most radical annual change outside of a motorcycle for the new regulations – that is, the debut of the RC211V 990cc, rc212v 800cc and RC213V 1000cc road bikes-The 2022 edition of the Honda RC213V is almost a completely new machine compared to the previous year.

The design of the packaging and the aerodynamic fairing of the Honda RC2022V 213 has been completely redesigned and many chassis and engine changes have taken place under this Repsol paint. 2022 is Repsol’s 22nd partnership with HRC. The objective is to make the RC213V work for drivers other than Marc Marquez, and even then, the six-time world champion can benefit from a machine that must be driven on the edge of the knife to achieve a winning pace.

“I think this is the biggest change we have seen in the current regulatory period. The concept of the 2022 machine is “Break out of our Shell” to improve performance, so the whole machine is completely different from the last two years.”

“We have modified the engine, the chassis and the electronics of this concept. We have already applied this new concept from last year, and we have already checked the performance of the new machine concept and have been able to confirm that it works to improve our vulnerabilities. This machine of 2022 has therefore evolved in the same direction.

“Our goal is always the same: to win the championship. But in this championship we always try to be first and second, that’s our goal with the Honda drivers.”
